Abuse Prevention - The Privilege and Responsibility of Abuse Liability

In this seminar we will review the importance of a Child Protection Policy, including proactive strategies to prevent abuse, respond to it and report incidents.  We will look at Screening Protocols for staff/volunteers and we will discuss the abuse prevention requirements needed for obtaining Abuse Liability Coverage, including tools and resources for implementing these protocols for all churches. We will end with a Q&A time regarding the above.

Stephanie Williams grew up in Steinbach, Manitoba and attends the Blumenort Community Church.  Approximately 5 years ago, Stephanie joined the Commercial and Farm Insurance Team for Lakeview Insurance in the Steinbach office.  She completed her CAIB designation and was most recently asked to lead the Church and Charity Team at Lakeview.  Stephanie is dedicated to serving her clients and providing guidance on all Church and Charity insurance topics.
