Our Story
“Some of the best dreams don’t start with a beautiful desire, motivated leadership or clear heavenly messages. Some dreams start with a simple frustration and the words, ‘somebody really should do something about this.’”
This was the case with the Awesome KidMin Conference - started by a group of KidMin workers in Manitoba who had a dream of making quality training accessible to all children’s ministry workers!

With that, the Awesome KidMin Conference dream was born.”

The planning for AKC26 is underway. No one on the planning for AKC19 ever imagined 10 years down the road and where the years would take AKC. Countless pastors, leaders and volunteers in the KidMin Community in Manitoba and beyond have been encouraged, equipped and empowered to bring their best to leading children to be fully devoted followers of Jesus.
Join us March 13 and 14, 2026 at our new location! We are thrilled to be welcomed by My Church, located at 955 Wilkes Avenue in Winnipeg.
