Nathaniel Friesen

Nathaniel has served as the Director of Children’s Ministries at Winnipeg Evangelical Free Church since 2019, but his involvement in Kids Ministry goes back much further than that! Growing up with both of his parents in Kids Ministry leadership, he has been surrounded by ministry to kids for most of his life. Nathaniel loves creating spaces where kids feel seen, safe and known, and equipping leaders to confidently and meaningfully invest in the lives of kids. He loves being part of Awesome KidMin and the opportunity it provides for churches and leaders to learn from, encourage and equip one another. Nathaniel and his wife, April, are celebrating 10 years of marriage this year and have three young daughters.
