Beyond Babysitting: Flourishing as an Early Childhood Volunteer
If you serve the littlest church-goers, this workshop is for you. It will provide some best practices for building relationships (with kids and parents!), along with practical tips for engaging active, growing minds with the amazing truth of the Gospel! While primarily focused on preschool ministry, those who serve infants or toddlers will come away with some great ideas as well.
Cathy Dyck
Cathy Dyck has been involved in children and youth ministry as a staff member and as a volunteer at The Meeting Place for over 35 years. She is a mentor, speaker and currently the Canadian Facilitator for “KidUnique” and “Finding Your Way”. Cathy has been involved in planning the AKC Conference since 2016.
Kelly Rempel
Kelly Rempel has served in children’s ministry for more than 35 years. Currently she serves as the Preschool Team Leader at Eastview Community Church where she’s been known to create crazy object lessons and hands-on activities.
