Heidi Schartner has been a member of the AKC Planning Team since 2020. She was first introduced to Awesome Kidmin as an attendee. She found that conference to be exceptionally valuable for her role in Children’s Ministry. Since then, she joined the team and has taken on various roles including devotion writing, marketing and sponsorship coordinator. She held the position of Children’s Ministry leader at her church for 6 years. Since then, she volunteers as a part of the pastoral team, worship coordinator and congregational care. Outside of church work, she also hosts her own podcast, AndKnow.com, which provides a weekly devo (which she affectionately calls ‘God Nuggets’). She’s married to her childhood sweetheart Randy, a mama to her amazing children Olivia and Mark and has discovered the joy of Stella, the dog who has somehow become the centre of attention in their family.
