Let’s talk about identity. Who we are and how we show up in the world matters just as much as feeling seen, known, loved, and accepted. How we have this conversation, and how we take the posture of Jesus in it will matter more than any opinions we may have about the conversation itself. What is the research telling us? What are the tensions in the conversation that we can name? And how does Jesus, and our identity in Him, empower us to understand both while sitting in the conversation with gentleness, dignity, and love?
