Cathy Dyck

The Meeting Place

Cathy Dyck has been involved with the Awesome KidMin Conference since the first conference in 2016. She brings a passion for equipping and encouraging ministry leaders, volunteers and parents in the building of strong relationships with the kids and youth they care about. Cathy believes that strong relationships are what gives them opportunity to shape a child’s future and have a positive influence in their life. Cathy has been involved in children and youth ministry as a staff member and as a volunteer at The Meeting Place for over 30 years. She translates her years of wisdom and leadership experience to the every day circumstances and life-changing opportunities that parents, leaders and volunteers have with children and youth. She is a mentor and speaker and currently the Canadian Facilitator for “KidUnique” and “Finding Your Way”. Cathy lives in Winnipeg with her husband Gerry. They have 4 adult children and 3 grandchildren.
