Playful Apologetics: Crafting Compelling Narratives for Children's Ministry

Simply put, Apologetics is giving a reasoned defence for the truth of the Christian faith. While we might think of it as a topic only for theologians, philosophers, and academics, it really is a requirement for all Christians. And that includes our kids too. In this session, we will look at what apologetics is, why it’s important, and what it can look like in your Children’s Ministry context.

Chris Sonnenberg is *technically* a Systems Design Engineer, but like many parents, he got volun-TOLD to help in the nursery. Following that cohort of children, he got drawn into the exciting world of Children’s Ministries. As the kids under his care got bigger, their questions got bigger. Needing answers to their questions, he completed a master’s degree in Christian Apologetics through Biola University. Now he’s combining both passions: kids and apologetics.
