Playful Apologetics: Helping Kids Understand and Trust the Bible

Kids are natural investigators! This session invites you to guide them through the basics of how the Bible was written, preserved, and interpreted. You’ll discover creative ways to introduce simple hermeneutics, historical reliability, and manuscript evidence to children—without losing their wonder. Equip your ministry with tools to build biblical literacy and lasting confidence in God’s Word.

Chris Sonnenberg is the founder of Playful Apologetics, a ministry that helps children, youth, and church leaders engage big questions about faith in approachable, age-appropriate ways. A systems design engineer turned apologist, Chris draws on both his analytical and creative sides to make theology accessible and engaging. As a father of three teenagers and a longtime children’s ministry leader, he equips parents and pastors to guide the next generation toward confident, thoughtful faith—one honest question at a time.
