Safe Place Policy - what is it and is it necessary?
It's a sad reality that organizations that work with those in the vulnerable sector NEED to have a safe place policy. Abuse statistics have skyrocketed and it feels like it is difficult to determine what a 'safe' place really is as clergy and churches come under scrutiny. A safe place policy builds a fence. Let's talk more about why we need that fence and how to get it done.
