Spiritual Formation of Children at Home and at Church
Deuteronomy 6:4-9 was a call to Israel as the community of faith to pass on faith to the next generation. The message remains the same today. It takes all of us: pastors, kidmin leaders, extended family and most importantly parents. This workshop focuses on biblical foundations of spiritual formation in children, as well as key influences in a child’s world that shape their spiritual journey and guide them to understand that “it is the Creator who defines His creation.” A key focus will be tools and resources available to parents as well as resources for church/camp leaders that can work to shape environments that facilitate faith formation.
