Have you ever tried watching a movie without a soundtrack? No score to draw you into the tension, triumph, heartbreak, or wonder. A movie without music would lose its appeal. There would be little to guide our emotions, set the mood or reveal the heart of the story.

This devo marks the last in the series of our theme verse for AKC25. Unpacking this short but powerful verse has been so good for the soul. Joshua is an incredible example for us to follow.

Discouragement.  I am the first to admit that, when things get too busy at work or at home, or when my best prepared plans go awry, it can be easy to let discouragement colour my thoughts - especially if I let it get the best of me.
